Type 1 fonts: end of an era
-
PostScript Type 1 fonts are around for many years, some of us still use fonts from early 90’s on their modern desktops (only piece of software that you can still until now!). When Vista was launched, it was already a bad sign with lack of support of AFM+INF. Now, its time for MacOS Leopard Snow to stop the support of this obsolet format.
We’ve converted all our library back in 2008 and stop to sell Type 1 packages. All our packages are sold in OpenType format, but some STD packs offer additionals fonts in this old font format.
Time to upgrade your old fonts!
