Verspieren

Verspieren is an all caps custom font designed by Jean François Porchez for the French insurance group of the same name. It will be used for lettering, titling, and signage applications at Verspieren.
The new typeface is based on the few glyphs designed in 2005 by Ligaris for the new identity. Their Verspieren lettering was based on the Tarzana typeface (Zuzana Licko, 1998) with the objective to create a unique brand at the time.
The main typeface characteristic is the roundish lower form seen in several glyphs such the E (three copies in the logotype) or the B, D, L, U, etc. The top of the glyphs is rigourously built when the bottom bring dynamism to the typeface. This new and exclusive typeface (who will never be available for others uses) developed in OpenType version is used for the branding of the various activities.
